| Claire burst onto the Laurel scene in 2006 and we immediately knew we had a “keeper.” After working with our youngest girls her first summer, Claire took charge of our Acadians in ’07. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Claire graduated from New York University and now is our full time Staff Recruitment Coordinator and Girl’s Head Counselor. A former dancer, actress and Laurel College Days captain, Claire is a wonderful combination of warmth, patience and “TLC”. She is an integral part of our year-round and summer team. |

| This is Peter’s fifth year as Boy’s head counselor, having trained as a Campus Leader and Department Head prior. Has his master’s in counseling from the University of Maine. Peter was formerly the training director at the Reebok Sports Club in New York City. High school guidance counselor during the winter. We’re looking forward to Peter leading our boys campuses again this summer! |

| Former Apache specialist and lacrosse head, Matt was a teacher and lacrosse coach at the Collegiate School in New York City. Also pursing MA in developmental psychology. Former student with Positive Coaching Alliance. Assisting Peter with supervising the boys’ campuses. This fall he joins Greenwich Country Day as a middle school teacher and coach. |

| Matt begins his sixth year as Program Director after five years directing our Apache campus. He combines athleticism, warmth, organization and creativity. A graduate of the Harvard School of Architecture, Matt previously worked at Hilltop Preparatory School in Philadelphia before joining our year-round family. Matt graduated from Washington University in St. Louis prior to attending Harvard. Matt is married to Joyce Fischer, our much-loved camp tutor. |

| Aaron has become a stalwart at Laurel. He grew up at camp, and for the last three years has been running his own SAT tutoring program in Short Hills, New Jersey. Aaron graduated the University of Michigan and is one of the most all-time loveable campers and staff to ever come out of Readfield. Aaron is a former ACL and this summer returns again as Assistant Program Director. |

| Tom is a superstar. Aside his father being the police chief of Closter, NJ, Tom is a whiz in all aspects of camp. Tom was previously our ropes course director. “Tommy B” runs a school-based outdoor adventure program in San Diego during the winter. He was married last September on the shores of our very own Echo Lake to Carlotta Lukens. |
