Camp Laurel has been under the directorship of Keith Klein and Jem Sollinger since 1994. Debbie Sollinger joined them as a full-time director in 2008. Jem and Debbie are the proud parents of 3 girls… Anabel, Madeline and Tess.

| Jem is a graduate of Union College where he was a varsity soccer player and captain of the alpine ski team. In high school he was an all-state and all New-England soccer player and two-time Connecticut individuals ski champion. He is actively involved with the American Camp Association, a former member of the Tri-State Camp conference steering committee and a past committee member of SCOPE, an organization that sends disadvantaged children to camp. A native of Westport, Connecticut, Jem now lives in Weston with his wife Debbie and daughters Anabel, Madeline and Tess. |

| Debbie spends the summer focusing on camper and staff relations. She hails from Baltimore, Maryland, where she attended the Park School and was a member of the varsity lacrosse and field hockey teams. A graduate of the University of Texas, Debbie is a Certified Social Worker and a graduate of Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiller School of Social Work. She is training at the Ackerman Institute in New York City to become a family therapist. A full-time camp director in the summer, Anabel, Madeline and Tess comprise much of her day during the winter months. |
