Chad Triplett Tripping & Mt. Biking Dept. Head
1st Year at Camp
Chad is a veteran of Camp Laurel as he formerly helped build our climbing towers, ropes course and bouldering wall as a member of the Virginia-based Inner Quest outdoor outfitter. Currently assistant professor of building trade at San Juan College in New Mexico. Aurora University graduate.
Tori Barber Sarasota, FL
Returns for second year and moves to the tripping department. Indiana University junior. High school soccer and volleyball player. Assistant coach at Suncoast Volleyball Club. Backpacker, hiker and enthusiast of the outdoors.
Nicole Bisson Crown Point, IN
Indiana University senior. Enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping, and zip lining. Recently camped in Australia’s Blue Mountains. Avid soccer player. Pursuing doctorate in physical therapy.
Nathan Burnett Presque Isle, ME
Returning for second summer. Graduated University of Maine with economics degree. Boy Scout in Far North Queensland in his native Australia. Avid kayaker and camper throughout the state of Maine.
Matty Carlson Johnston, IA
Eagle Scout and Clarke University senior. Very experienced outdoorsman—over 100 nights of camping in New Mexico and Minnesota. Loves to play soccer and have fun.
Casey Dilg Portland, OR
Animal science field instructor. Loves everything about the outdoors—campfires, swimming, hiking, camping, and backpacking. Interned at Oregon Zoo. California Polytechnic State University ecology major. Excited to camp in the famed state parks of Maine.
Kassy Gahagan Bozeman, MT
Returning for second summer... this year as a trip leader after a year at the climbing center. University of Montana junior psychology major. An avid hiker, Kassy will be a great addition to the trips staff.
Sarah Owermohle Montclair, VA
Returns to Laurel for third summer. College of William and Mary senior. Avid camper and outdoor enthusiast. Camped and hiked in Jordan and Turkey when studying abroad. So glad to have her back!
Justin Shaw Portland, OR
Another Tim Eldridge recruit. Portland State University junior. Former Boy Scout who loves camping, hiking, backpacking and white water rafting. Can’t wait to hit the state parks of Maine.
Ian Swalling Centennial, CO
Referred by Tim Eldridge…that’s good enough for us! University of Oregon political science junior. Avid outdoorsman…backpacked through Thailand’s jungles. Enjoys painting and soccer.
