Meet Our Staff

Geoff Williams Small Crafts Dept. Head 23rd Year at Camp
Geoff grew up on the waters of Echo Lake. He has been at Laurel since birth and now runs our ever-popular small crafts program. Geoff is graduating RIT next year, where he now captains the sailing team. He is master of the winds of Echo Lake. Graduate of St. George’s Prep in Newport, Rhode Island.
Andrew Angione Goffstown NH
Member University of New Hampshire sailing team. Grew up sailing the waters of New Hampshire and Maine. Eagle Scout and senior patrol leader in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Hugo Breitholtz Rye NH
Roger Williams University graduate. Participated in Junior Olympics in sailing. Member high school sailing team. Taught sailing at Kittery Point Yacht Club. Business management major.
Meredith Boyd Hampden, MA
Elementary education major at Marist College and varsity crew. High school varsity track captain, National Honor Society. Teaching internship in London this past year.
Becca Hampson Congleton, UK
Comes highly recommended through friends in the United Kingdom. Can’t wait to hit the waters of Echo Lake. Lots of experience sailing. Plays keyboard and drums.
Brian Kent Cooperstown, NY
Ten years sailing experience. Junior Sailor of the Year Award in ’07-’08 at a local yacht club. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute sophomore.
Ainsley Price Scarborough, ME
Northeastern University junior and member of outdoors club. Dad and aunt formerly worked at Laurel. Great to have her in the fold as a sailing and windsurfing expert.
Steven Shafer Boca Raton, FL
Former camper of seven years, now a George Washington University economics and international affairs major. Loads of camp spirit and spent many of his camper days at the lakefront. Great to have him back!
Darragh White Ballincollig, Ireland
Grew up on the water in Ireland. Avid kayaker and sailor. Can’t wait to come across the pond to teach his skills to our campers. Graduating with teaching degree this fall.

Dan Tucker Temperance, MI
University of Michigan junior and avid fisherman takes hold of our popular fishing program once again. Captain “Crack of Dawn” will lead us on the waters of Echo Lake this summer. Welcome back, Dan!
Travis Verdier Grand Rapids MI
The second half of our fishing combo from Ann Arbor. Travis has been a “water guy” since he was a young man. An avid sailor and fisherman…and civil and environmental engineering major.
