I learned to shoot and to cradle Sports Night illuminated the arena A
To chip, catch and throw,
Lights brightened the ields and courts, 

I bunted the runner over
Amid the cheers and the spectacle

I made saves in front of my goal;
I learned the true value of sports;


The Cactus League that emerged this year I launched arrows and golf balls H
Made me feel like a seasoned pro,
I balanced on the beam,

I took the ield in the Grapefruit League And I learned what it meant
And in intercamps my skills did show;
To be part of a team;

I ran the cross-camp itness trail I learned the importance of teamwork 

And it became my ultimate test,
That to succeed I would need help,
