I knew it was coming but was not sure when With my teammates shouting out their support
I played like a champion and felt like a winner,
It might have started in so many ways,
Then it happened, taking me by surprise I gave it my all through the cheers and the noise
And stayed absolutely quiet for the silent dinner;
The event that would break College Days;
Under Ohio’s red banner I watched the rope burn
A four day lurry of excitement and games
Sportsmanship was what it was all about,
I swam and paddled for Purdue’s bright gold,
I painted in navy on Illinois’ wooden plaque
A three day rush of intense competition
And marched in green by Michigan State’s great loat;
Culminating in song, cheer, and loat.
