I rushed up the hill to catch the Pony Express The posts were set up for my very irst jump
And when at Meadow View we arrived,
As Courtney gave me all of her attention,

The horses all raced up to the white fence So when Blaze lifted up and sailed over the bar
Ready to greet us and take us for a ride;
Gone was all of my apprehension;

The two-point position I mastered with ease We cleared the bar, I’d mastered the ride
On Cassie, a brown and white mare,
All the blue ribbons proved I was able,
Freckles
I cantered her around the outdoor corral
I gave Daisy a pat and hugged her neck Maddy takes
over a cross-rail
The reins tight and the breeze through my hair;
And turned her, heading back to the stable.
