S-day mornings in camp were a special time
And though there was no breakfast in bed, Acadian synch
ronized swimmi
We’d arrive at the dining room in our pajamas ng
And eat croissants and omelets instead;

Then we searched for nuggets in the Gold Rush There were dance shows and cabin feuds

Or dressed up in Olympics and Viking Days,
And group sing at the end of the day,
And we borrowed just the right colors for Quest There was bingo, dodgeball and VIP night a-hoops

And hoped for McDonald’s at the end of the relay;
And all that talent at the counselor cabaret;

When the sun descended on Laurel
When Sports Night illuminated the upper ield

And the dusk’s shadows began to grow dark, We all got the chance to compete,
Excitement poured forth from our cabin doors Then relaxed in our campus or at the Log Cabin
