Head Chef Alton Lewis’s


30th summer at Camp Laurel.


Born in Jamaica and now a resident of Boston, Massachusetts, 

Alton is renowned at Laurel for his homemade clam chowder, 
chicken stir-fry and Saturday night pizza!

In addition to being an exceptional chef who has kept us well- 

fed for three decades, Alton is a very important personality 
to the Laurel family. There isn’t a person who walks through 

the Dining Hall that Alton doesn’t recognize.be it alumni, 
camper or staff.


Thank you Alton for all you do for Laurel. We look forward 
to three more decades of your delicious cooking!
