Nicole Albers Columbus, OH
Ohio University nursing major. Former day camp counselor and youth volleyball referee. Nicole took the advice of sisters and Acadian all-stars, Jena and Megan, and will be living the dream on the Acadian lawn this summer.

Claire Albert Indianapolis, IN
Graduated Purdue University with an athletic training degree. Has worked as a dance teacher for the past four years and loves anything outdoors, especially fishing! Echo Lake is the place for you, Claire.

Kelsey Bledsoe Woodruff, SC
Aspiring elementary art teacher, current art education major at Converse College. Has completed two semesters of practicum, teaching in high school, middle school and elementary school settings. Also an active volunteer; led local youth activities through the FUGE program. Sweet, bubbly, energetic – will be a great specialist!

Mikayla Brody Jupiter, FL
Certified yoga instructor having completed her RYT 200 certification. Teaches children’s yoga at local Boys and Girls clubs. Volunteers and tutors at local elementary school. Junior at George Washington University studying international affairs. Excited to bring her positive attitude and love for working with kids to 04355.

Alexia Cervello Yorktown Heights, NY
George Washington University sophomore. Group leader at outdoor school the past two years. Also volunteered at Sunshine Children’s Home where she worked with children with special needs. Excited to bring her love of nature and working with kids to Maine this summer.

Jenna Dombi Medina, OH
Ohio State University sophomore. Member of the HUDDLE mentoring program. Coaches gymnastics and teaches saxophone lessons to children at her local elementary school. Spent her summers working at an ice cream shop. Decided to trade in the cones for a spectacular summer in Maine! Great choice, Jenna, Acadia is a blast!

Lizzie Dudley Richmond, VA
Nursing major at James Madison University. Gained a passion for working with kids while being a teacher's aide and now nannies during the year. Made her favorite memories at the summer camp she attended in Virginia and can't wait to make more for her campers!

Shena Geisinger Peterson, IA
Grand View University biology and biochemistry major. Competitive collegiate cheerleader and three year lifeguard. Accomplished rider, has participated in various American Quarter Horse Association shows. We’re thrilled Shena’s returning for her second summer in Acadia.

Alex Gentry Portland, OR
After a fantastic summer at Laurel equestrian in ’16, Alex makes the move to Specialist! Junior communications major at St. Edward’s University. Teaches riding lessons year round and volunteers her time working with children in the Special Olympics. Considers herself a s’mores aficionado.

Rileigh Glasgow Richmond, VA
Making the journey to Maine after hearing about Laurel through Bago ACL Drew Ashcraft. Sophomore nursing major at Longwood University. Loves sports and is a coach for a rec volleyball league. Welcome to the Acadian family, Rileigh!

Leighton Higgins Greenville, SC
Five year competitive volleyball player; played on US national club team. MVP of her varsity team in high school. Junior at University of South Carolina. Spent two years working in service learning at local elementary school and currently volunteers with community youth group. Excited for summer #2 in Readfield.

Gigi Howard Columbus, OH
Otterbein University sophomore exercise science major and member of women's soccer team. Heard about Laurel from returning basketball counselor, Gabe Hilt. Can't wait for smiles and sunshine in Acadia all summer long.

Emily Lundh Canton, MI
Elementary education major at Eastern Michigan University. Three year nanny and eight year youth soccer coach. Has years of classroom teaching experience. After a stellar 2016, it’s great to have Emily back on the Acadian Lawn.

Ashlyn McElderry Zionsville, IN
After a one year hiatus, Ashlyn is back in the Pine Tree State. Elementary education major at Purdue. Talented soccer player, led her high school team to a state title two consecutive years. Coaches a U-10 team throughout the year. Can’t wait to be sporting her tutu come June.

Justyn Myers Annapolis, MD
Mechanical Engineering student at Clemson University. Justyn loves anything active; especially playing for her school’s club lacrosse team. We're excited to have her energy and enthusiasm in Acadia. Welcome to camp, Justyn!

Delaney Nock Cleveland, OH
University of Dayton education major. Delaney has worked with kids in every facet; coaching, teaching, and mentoring. Excited to bring her expertise to Acadia this summer and have a blast on Echo Lake.

Laura Nolt Monument, CO
Current sophomore at Colorado State University. Has been dancing for 17 years and now works as a dance teacher in Fort Collins, Colorado. Spent last summer as an athletics coach for a YMCA day camp instructing lacrosse, volleyball, cheer and soccer. Excited to join the Acadian team!

Bethany Osborn Fayetteville, AR
Junior journalism and communications major at University of Arkansas. Leader of community crafting activities for local elementary school; more than five years of working with children. Loves to cook and bake with her family. Excited to bring her strong skills back to the state of Maine in season #2.

Anna Redington Cincinnati, OH
Nine year competitive volleyball player and previous referee for local elementary school league. Expert hiker -- hikes the Redwoods in California every year. Talented vocalist. Has participated in various musicals and performances. A true Renaissance woman. Returns for Summer #2 as an Acadian superstar!

Jordan Reynolds Medina, OH
Former soccer camp counselor and referee. Freshman journalism major at New York University. Jordan joins the Ohio crew of returning counselors, Joseph Toth and Natalie Horrigan, for a new adventure on the shores of Echo Lake.

Annie Rodney Bethesda, MD
After six years as a camper at Laurel - welcome home Annie! Syracuse University sophomore studying business. Loves to stay involved and regularly volunteers with the ENACTUS program and The Friendship Circle. Annie can't wait to share her Laurel memories and make new ones in Acadia.

Jensen Tata Medina, OH
Freshman at Ohio University. Talented volleyball player; worked at day camp where she taught sports and refereed. Loves community outreach and has participated in mentoring programs throughout high school and college. Recently traveled to Ecuador to build a school and work with children. The Acadian Lawn is the place to be, Jensen!

Alexa Toth Medina, OH
Following in brother and veteran Apache Specialist Joseph Toth's footsteps – can't wait for her first summer in Maine. Freshman at Bowling Green State University. An avid babysitter since high school, spent last summer volunteering at a school in Ecuador.

Natalie Wallis Tulsa, OK
Elementary education major at Oklahoma State University. Has been nannying for the past five summers and has done everything from swim lessons to tutoring. Excited for all the fun in Acadia this summer.

Megan Woody Missoula, MT
Currently teaches fourth-grade in Denver, Colorado. Enjoys any and everything outdoors, especially paddling. Elementary education graduate from Regis University. Coaches youth soccer and basketball throughout the year. Megan returns to 04355 after a brief sabbatical and couldn’t be happier.

Clemson University sophomore. Years of babysitting and volunteering have prepared her for an amazing summer in Maine. Ready to cover her arms in friendship bracelets on the Acadian Lawn. Welcome, Sarah!
