Jane ArmstrongCincinatti, OH
A wildlife major at Ohio University, Jane was a counselor for two summers in Kentucky before making the jump to Laurel in 2019. She’s coached youth volleyball, student taught in elementary classrooms and plays the bass guitar. Excited to welcome Jane to the Laurel family!
Danielle BleierBoise, ID
A Boise State University sophomore, Danielle has a passion for working with children, dance and photography. She’s instructed ballet, tap, jazz and rock climbing and is pumped for her first summer in Maine!
Kaleigh BrownFairfield, CT
Kaleigh hails from Fairfield, a stone’s throw from the Laurel year-round office. She just finished her freshman year at University of Richmond and is pursuing an elementary education career. Kaleigh played 4 years high school varsity soccer, earning all-conference recognition her senior year. Can’t wait to see your skills on the Acadian lawn!
Samantha BurkhartPhoenix, AZ
A Northern Arizona University graduate, Sam leads youth fitness classes and coaches girls’ basketball. Volunteered at day camps and the Make-a-Wish foundation. Sam’s warm, engaging and ready for her first Laurel summer.
Emma BurrisIndianapolis, IN
A freshman at Ball State University, Emma’s brother Jared is a camp favorite and currently heads Laurel fitness. A leader for freshman in her high school’s orientation program, babysitter, dancer and basketball fan, we knew Emma was the perfect fit for Laurel when we first met.
Mackenzie ChesrownGranville, OH
Mackenzie joins the Acadian team having finished her freshman year at Ohio State University. A babysitter and cheer coach for years, she loves working with children. We’re so excited to welcome this Buckeye to The Pine Tree State!
Anna DingeldeinCincinatti, OH
Anna is a seasoned camper and counselor having worked three summers at the camp where she grew up in Kentucky. She now makes the leap to Laurel. A Dayton University sophomore, this Flyer heard great things about us from previous Laurel standouts. A basketball and volleyball athlete in high school, Anna can’t wait to join the Laurel ranks.

Acadia will be thrilled to meet this University of Texas Longhorn. Jess was known as the neighborhood babysitter in high school. A camper through and through, Jess loved her own camp experience and is excited to join Laurel for her first summer!

Britton joins the Laurel team after her sister Abigail paved the way as a counselor. A College of Charleston freshman, she’s coached elementary dance and pom squads and was a youth leader for her childhood camp. Welcome to Maine, Britton!
Caroline GullaColumbus, OH
An Ohio University nursing student, Caroline volunteered for three summers at a camp for children with pediatric cancer. An avid hiker and ceramicist, Caroline’s traveled throughout North America and loves to work on her own pottery. Welcome Caroline!

Alli couldn’t resist coming to Laurel after hearing amazing things from her twin brother and Sequoia Assistant Campus Leader, Ryan. A Ball State University sophomore, Alli teaches cheer and dance. We’re so glad to have you in the Laurel family, Alli!

An all-star in 2018, Devin is thrilled to be back on the Acadian lawn. A Virginia Tech junior and future history teacher, Devin was a four-year letterwoman in field hockey for her high school. Welcome back, Devin!

A seven-year Laurel camper, Eden makes the jump into a counselor role in 2019. Attending Tulane University in the fall. An assistant teacher at her temple for four years. Eden’s older brother Jonah grew up through the Laurel ranks and is also on staff this summer. Welcome home, Eden.

An Indiana University junior, Maddie loved her first summer in 2018 after hearing great things from brother Chuck, our assistant program director. A talented volleyball player, this Hoosier can’t wait to bump, set and spike her way to another awesome summer.

It’s summer #9 and first as a counselor for Adi who spent her summers growing up at Laurel. Adi’s older brother and younger sister also loved their eight summers with us, and she’s ecstatic to share her experiences with her campers. Welcome home, Adi!

An Eckerd College freshman, Sofi joins Acadia with years of daycare and nanny experience. She’s been an actress in several plays and is known for her creativity and energy. Thrilled to welcome Sofi.

A University of Tennessee sophomore, Ansley has worked in elementary schools, day camps, and as a nanny. This UT Volunteer spent two weeks in Maine last summer and is psyched to join Acadia this season.

A University of Cincinatti nursing student, “Moe” returns to the Acadian lawn for summer #2. A volleyball coach, Moe also volunteers for an orphanage and a daycare. Welcome back, Moe!

Returning for her second Laurel summer, Ellie was a four-sport letterwoman in lacrosse, field hockey, cross country and swimming. She now rows crew at St. Lawrence University where she is also an orientation leader. Welcome back to Laurel, Ellie!

A University of Louisville graduate, Kellie returns for her second Laurel summer and first in the world of Acadia. She’s previously led retreats for her high school and loves volleyball, basketball and being in the great outdoors.
Jaclyn SaittaDiscovery Bay, CA
A Baylor University nursing student, Jaclyn has a passion for working with children and is studying to become a pediatric nurse. The photographer and social media manager for her sorority’s service organization, Jaclyn has been working and volunteering with children for years. We’re thrilled to have this Baylor Bear with us!

An early childhood education major, Hannah is currently a lead preschool teacher and afterschool elementary teacher. She’s ecstatic to continue her work with children away from the classroom and in Acadia. Welcome, Hannah!

A Ball State sophomore, Morgan heard the Laurel word through Ryan Hahn. She worked as a full-time summer nanny throughout high school and is excited to join the Laurel ranks.
Jayna WitzanyCottage Grove, MN
A softball player at Mount Mercy University, Jayna also lettered three years in tennis. A volunteer at her local children’s hospital, a tutor, and an assistant softball coach, Jayna loves spending her time with children. We’re so happy to have Jayna on board.
