Grace McKenneyLexington, MA 
Grace returns to Laurel Equestrian for summer #2. She’s competed for more than a decade as a hunter/jumper. Previously worked at a day camp. Years of experience teaching in the ring and barn. Outside of riding, Grace has been a peer tutor in math, science and Spanish. We’re excited for her return to 04355.
Kenna BementOrlando, FL
A member of the University of Central Florida equestrian team, Kenna competes in dressage and hunt seat. She grew up attending equestrian summer camps in Connecticut and Florida. An all-around athlete, Kenna lettered three years with her high school basketball team and works in student operations for UCF’s athletics programs. We’re thrilled to welcome Kenna!
DeeDee TurnquestWindermere, FL
A Liberty University senior studying psychology, DeeDee returns to Laurel for her second summer. She previously merged her two passions – psychology and riding – in a children’s equine therapy program. DeeDee showed all through high school in hunter/jumper and dressage. Welcome back, DeeDee.
Sophie BennettBuxton, UK
A Hartpury University senior, Sophie grew up competing in show jumping, flatwork, fences and dressage. A former member of Hartpury’s polo team, Sophie is now studying equine science and instructs at riding schools in the UK. We know you’ll love Laurel equestrian, Sophie.
Sophie JunoWaitomo Caves, NZ
University of Canterbury junior, Sophie competes in showjumping for her university. Previously volunteered with Christchurch Riding for the disabled. Sophie first heard about camp through Lauren Keane in New Zealand five years ago. Pumped to have Sophie’s experience and passion in Maine.
Kiki DaffanRumson, NJ 
It’s summer #2 for Kiki, a Penn State junior political science major. She competes in hunter/jumper for Penn State’s equestrian team and is their barn manager. Kiki has experience babysitting, coaching cheer, and teaching riding. We’re excited to have her back with the Laurel equestrian team.
Jorge Rojas SalazarMartinez de la Torre City, MXBarn Assistant
With a decade of riding experience under his belt, Jorge will help care for our two 12-stall barns and 22 horses and ponies. We’re so happy he made the trip to Maine!
