Tom Lang
Tom Lang, Athletic Director
New Market, MD – 28th Year at Camp

Approaching his third decade at Laurel – camping’s best Director of Athletics is our own Tom Lang! Tom oversees our 50-person athletic department. Former Big East basketball player at Georgetown; now a PE teacher and high school basketball coach in Maryland. Tom’s father was the Athletic Director at Georgetown. Quite a pedigree! Tom met his wife Stacey at camp and their four boys grew up through the ranks at Laurel. Tom’s two oldest sons are collegiate basketball players.
Eric Fierro
Eric Fierro, Associate Athletic Director
West Creek, NJ – 10th Year at Camp

New Jersey Southern Regional High School teacher and football and basketball coach; nominated for 2014-15 New Jersey Teacher of the Year. Played quarterback and punter for Ursinus College in Pennsylvania. Has coached football, basketball and track. Won the 2014-15 South Jersey Coach of the year award. Has spent more than a decade in charge of the Southern Regional School’s extended school year special education program. Coach Fierro infuses positive energy into every aspect of Laurel athletics!
Holly Williams
Geoff Williams, Waterfront Director
Winthrop, ME – 32nd Year at Camp

A true Laurel lifer, Geoff has spent every summer at camp. Geoff returns to the shores of Echo Lake as our Waterfront Director having previously worked as the Co-Program Director, head of small crafts and sailing counselor. He graduated Rochester Institute of Technology where he captained the sailing team. Geoff brings a lifetime of Laurel knowledge to our waterfront.
Zack Pettijohn
Zack Pettijohn, Adventure and InterArts Director
Aztec, NM – 19th Year at Camp

Drury College graduate. Teaches building trades at San Juan College in New Mexico. Zack is the perfect fit for overseeing our adventure program – climbing, aerial park, mountain biking and outdoor tripping. Also manages our vast InterArts department encompassing performing, visual and culinary arts! Ensures that each aspect of our highly structured adventure and arts programs is safe, exciting and fun.
Kendall Crutchfield
Kendall Crutchfield, Equestrian Director
Chicopee, MA – 4th Year at Camp

Club manager and hunter/jumper instructor of the world-renowned Boston Polo Club. In her tenure as Head Interscholastic Equestrian Association Coach at Mt. Holyoke College, Kendall produced nationally recognized finalist teams and individual riders. Norwich University graduate. Professional riding coach for many years with six years coaching hunter and jumpers. Certified instructor in Massachusetts; has managed several top boarding, training and breeding facilities. Welcome back to this seasoned equestrian coach.
Gustavo Andrade
Gustavo Andrade, Tennis Director
Sao Paulo, Brazil – 17th Year at Camp

Former head tennis coach at Bethel College. Three-time conference Coach of the Year. Now runs his own Tennis Academy in Sao Paulo. Former standout collegiate player; ranked nationally as a Brazilian junior. Back for his 17th year at Laurel. “Gus” is joined by his wife Alyne and their two children. Gus elevates Laurel tennis and has made it one of our true signature programs!
Corey Marsh
Corey Marsh, Assistant Tennis Director
Boca Raton, FL – 2nd Year at Camp

Corey calls Boca Raton home in the winter, where he is on the Pine Crest School tennis staff. He’s the former women’s tennis head coach at Hunter College and adds a decade of coaching experience to Laurel tennis. He was head tennis coach of Berkeley Carroll in Brooklyn and was tennis director at a Long Island Country Club. Corey was a gold medalist in doubles at the NYS Empire State games, a silver medalist at the JCC Maccabi Games, posted a .750 winning percentage at Gettysburg College before transferring and playing club tennis at Syracuse. We’re thrilled to have Corey returning to Laurel tennis.
